Dietary Assistant

Ozanam Hall of Queens Nursing Home Inc, a Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, is seeking a skilled Dietary Aide to join our team.

This part-time position offers a competitive hourly pay range of $17.93 to $19.70.

• Assist in the serving of scheduled meals, beverages, and snacks to residents.
• Record food temperatures for each meal, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
• Purchase and store food and supplies as instructed, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
• Prepare tray cards, serve meals, and load food carts with precision and efficiency.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately are essential.
• The ideal candidate will be able to read, write, and understand English fluently.
• Able to stand, lift, walk, climb, and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with potential hazards from food service.
