Job Summary

NYC Health + Hospitals is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Manager - Psychiatry Department to lead our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care, managing staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of our psychiatric department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement nursing care plans to meet the unique needs of our patients
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure excellent patient care and outcomes
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and services
  • Monitor and analyze patient outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies

Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in New York State
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a registered nurse in a psychiatric setting
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
