Design Technician Role

RedBuilt LLC is seeking a skilled Design Technician to join our team. As a Design Technician, you will play a key role in the design of our engineered wood products, structural components, and construction systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Model floor and roof systems using Revit software
  • Design wall systems for wood and light gauge steel using Revit software
  • Develop mass timber system models using Revit software
  • Detail and design floor and roof trusses using proprietary RedBuilt software
  • Communicate effectively with customers, architects, engineers, and sales representatives

Requirements:

  • Experience with drafting and modeling software such as Revit
  • Excellent reading and interpretation skills for construction drawings
  • Basic trigonometry skills
  • Attention to detail and quality focus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Innovative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
