Caregiving Professional for Children with Autism

Kyo, a leading provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, seeks a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. As a caregiver for children with autism, you will play a vital role in implementing our child-centric therapy model.
Working one-on-one with clients in home, school, and community environments, you will incorporate each child's unique interests into fun, play-based sessions. In partnership with your clinical supervisor, you will work together to achieve individualized and meaningful outcomes.
About the RoleThis part-time position requires a minimum availability of three weekdays from 3-7pm and two weekdays from 8am-12pm or 11:30am-3pm. For full-time positions, you will need to be available Monday through Friday from 8am-7pm.
You will utilize safe and appropriate behavior management strategies when interacting with clients, some of whom may engage in physically challenging behaviors. You will also use company-provided technology for data collection and reporting progress on client behavior.
We offer a competitive salary range of $24-$28 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes mileage reimbursement, paid drive time between sessions, and access to a variety of employee wellness programs.
Requirements- A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Experience working with children, particularly those with autism, is highly preferred.
- Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license and insurance is necessary. Public transportation options are available for certain caseloads in San Francisco only.
- You must be at least 18 years old and pass a DOJ and FBI background check, as well as a TB test or risk assessment where applicable.
- A willingness to obtain and maintain Registered Behavior Technician certification or state-specific ABA licensure is required.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Apple iPad technology and Google Suite, are essential.
