Relay Setting Engineer IV

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Relay Setting Engineer IV to join our team at SynchroGrid. This role involves developing and managing relay setting development for various relay manufacturers, including SEL, GE, ABB, and others.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relay setting development for SEL, GE, ABB, and other relay manufacturers.
- Develop short circuit analysis and coordination studies with CAPE and ASPEN.
- Perform relay mis-operation analysis with Wavewin and SEL SynchroWave.
- Perform arc flash analysis with ETAP.
- Develop and review NERC compliance verification reports for all PRC NERC standards.
- Manage specific projects to develop relay settings for Wide Area Coordination.
- Develop relay settings for generator projects.
Requirements
- Ability to recognize relay one-lines, three-lines, control schematics, wiring diagrams, etc.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Strong computer and software skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- High attention to detail.
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 6-year related industry experience preferred.
