Overview

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized MDS Coordinator to join our team at Signature HealthCARE, LLC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and medical practices, as well as knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.


Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze information to complete the MDS using medical records, bedside assessments, and staff, resident, and family interviews.
  • Participate in daily PPS meetings, weekly Medicare meetings, and monthly meetings to ensure federal billing requirements are met.
  • Provide ongoing education to the interdisciplinary team on the RAI process, including changes and updates.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with current state licensure.
  • Minimum three years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, with a preference for long-term care.
  • Minimum one year of MDS experience.
