Job DescriptionAs an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating patients and helping them improve basic motor function and reasoning abilities. You will assist patients in selecting appropriate adaptive equipment and assistive devices when necessary. This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
Essential Functions- Performs patient assessment and establishes plan of care and treatment goals, then assesses the effectiveness of treatment and modifies treatment when appropriate.
- Prepares plans for discharge.
- Coordinates with interdisciplinary team on patient needs, treatment modifications, and progress.
- Two years' direct patient occupational therapy care and treatment experience preferred.
- Experience in rehabilitation hospital setting preferred, but recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist in good standing is required.
- Basic Life Support/CPR certification is required.
