Overview

Critical Illness Recovery Hospital seeks a skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting healing and recovery.

Salary:

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $18.50 - $22.56 (based on experience) with opportunities for shift differentials. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, prescription coverage, paid time off, extended illness days, and a 401(k) retirement plan with company match.

Job Description

As a Certified Nursing Assistant at Critical Illness Recovery Hospital, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Bathing patients using basin-less bath products, ensuring their physical well-being and dignity
  • Providing oral hygiene, feeding, and hair care services to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Participating in hourly rounds to assess patient needs and address concerns
  • Transporting patients to and from treatment centers, working collaboratively with transporters to ensure safe and efficient transfers
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization within patient rooms, including making beds and replenishing supplies as needed
  • Keeping unit stock levels of equipment and supplies up-to-date, following established protocols and guidelines

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, or relevant work experience (3+ years)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire
  • Experience working in a hospital setting, either as a nursing assistant or in a related field such as medical assisting or actively enrolled nursing student
