Job Summary

This position provides nursing triage of all patient messages received via telephone or MyChart under general supervision. The triage nurse will demonstrate sound clinical judgment, utilizing careful listening, critical thinking, and assessment skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current RN license in the state of Texas
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • 2 years of ambulatory clinical nursing experience or emergency room experience (preferred)
