Job Overview

Mindlance is a leading provider of contingent resource assignment services. We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Expert to join our team and contribute to large-scale planning related to Information Security Engineering deliverables.

About the Role

  • This is a contingent resource assignment position where you will consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Information Security Engineering.
  • You will review and analyze moderately complex Information Security Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • You will contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Information Security Engineering deliverables while leveraging your solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • You will collaborate with client personnel in Information Security Engineering.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 4+ years of Information Security Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • Proficiency in Static Analysis.
  • Experience with Checkmarx/Checkmarx One administration.
  • Ability to provide hands-on technical support for Checkmarx and Checkmarx ONE platform.
  • Drive vendor accountability to address product defects.
  • Support patching and upgrade testing.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Application Security Champions, development team members, and offshore partners.
  • Ensure documentation is current and reflects process changes and have an eye for detail.

Additional Requirements

  • 6+ years of application security experience.
  • 2+ years of experience with Agile and Atlassian products such as Jira/Confluence or equivalent.
  • Good understanding of OWASP top 10.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Able to troubleshoot complex technology integration issues.

Bonus Points

  • 2+ years of cloud experience.
  • 3+ years of scripting experience in Python.
  • 2+ years of SQL experience.
