Job Description

At Etna Supply, we are seeking a highly skilled Submittal Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing shop drawings and operation and maintenance manuals, assisting the Quoting and Sales Departments on projects, and creating Submittals for all divisions of Etna as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed customer expectations by providing a positive customer experience.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers.
  • Review project documents and understand the scope of work to bid.
  • Obtain specification drawings from vendors or computer databases.
  • Prepare shop drawings, submittal documents, and operation and maintenance manuals accurately and efficiently.
  • Meet or exceed required customer deadlines.
  • Maintain organized digital files with required information.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of commercial plumbing projects, PVF Mechanical, Underground, Heating, HVAC, obtained through manufacturer trainings, web trainings, experience, etc.
  • Inform supervisor of any observed inaccuracies or omissions in quoted items or computer databases.
  • Track and input activities into the department's job tracking system.
  • Assist the Quoting/Sales departments with projects as required.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
  • Work safely.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; or
  • Six months to a year of related experience and training; or
  • Equivalent combination of experience and education.

Certifications and Licenses:

  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
