Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities as a Medical Office Coordinator will include:
  • Scheduling patient appointments and maintaining up-to-date demographic information.
  • Verifying insurance eligibility and scanning necessary insurance cards.
  • Collections patient payments and confirming accuracy before depositing funds.
  • Maintaining adequate front office supplies and notifying Materials Management when needed.
  • Providing simple medical advice under the direction of physical or clinical staff.
  • Participating in departmental meetings and recommending improvement opportunities.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:
  • A high school graduate or equivalent.
  • At least one year of medical office experience.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using medical office software and equipment.
