Medical Science Liaison for Cell Therapy in the Southeast

About the Role
Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Medical Science Liaison to join our team in the Southeast region. As a Medical Science Liaison, you will play a critical role in engaging with healthcare professionals to translate science into patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to gain insights on the clinical landscape and develop a medical plan that translates into effective launch and lifecycle management activities.
- Engage in scientific and clinical conversations to ensure the development of a medical plan that is both product/disease area focused and translates into effective launch and lifecycle management activities.
- Provide medical support to address unsolicited healthcare professional questions in real-time, both in face-to-face interactions and through the Medical on Call virtual capability.
- Develop credible connections with key thought leaders in the therapeutic area through high-quality peer-to-peer scientific dialogue.
- Document and achieve annual goals.
Requirements
- MD, PharmD, PhD, APP, PA, NP with experience in a specific disease area or with a broad medical background or relevant pharmaceutical experience.
- Working in a scientific and/or clinical research environment. Field medical expertise preferred.
- Deep understanding of thought leader environment and needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Scientific or clinical disease area knowledge, patient treatment trends, clinical landscape.
- Pharmaceutical industry including compliance and regulatory guidelines.
- Understanding of scientific publications.
- Clinical trial design and process.
- Understanding of national and regional healthcare and access environment.
Travel Requirements
- The Medical Science Liaison will spend the majority of their time in the field with their external customers and additional requirements based on territory assignment and team needs, as needed.
