About the Role:

The Evaluation and Treatment Center at OLV Human Services is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary model, you will work alongside physicians and child psychologists to provide comprehensive assessments, diagnostic, and treatment services for children aged 2-21 with various developmental and behavioral challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including taking vital signs, reviewing medical history, and performing physical examinations.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses in patients aged 2-21.
  • Order and interpret laboratory work, imaging, etc.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and therapies.
  • Provide patient education on disease prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, and management of chronic conditions.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree from an accredited University in PA studies or higher.
  • At least 3 years' experience working with children and families (preferred).
  • Physician's Assistant, Certified (PA-C).
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
  • Physician Assistant Licensure.
