Job Summary:
Nuclear medicine technologists are responsible for performing tests for diagnosis and medical research. They prepare and administer small doses of radioactive drugs (radiopharmaceuticals) to patients, then use high-level imaging equipment to record images of the radioactive material in the body.
This position requires a strong foundation in nuclear medicine principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and patient care skills.
