Job OverviewLiberty Personnel Services, Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join their team. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of the company's financial records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Controller and Assistant Controller in tasks such as journal entries, general ledger management, and financial reporting processes, including month-end close and trial balances.
  • Perform regular account reconciliations and conduct thorough analyses to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist the accounting team in tackling complex projects, including process improvements, cost center analysis, event costing, reporting, and more.
  • Work closely with the Controller and outside auditing firm on the annual audits, assisting with the 401K audits as needed.
  • Utilize Excel to create customized reports that provide insights and data analytics to support decision-making processes.
  • Engage with different division leaders to understand the accounting impacts of business activities, ensuring alignment across teams.
  • Take on various ad-hoc projects as needed, which may vary in nature and scope.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
  • 3+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on general ledger experience and a background in public accounting and corporate accounting.
  • The ability to work with all levels of accounting and non-accounting professionals.
  • Workday, SAP, Oracle or other ERP experience is a significant plus.
