Plumbing Instructor

Durham Technical Community College is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach plumbing courses. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, developing curriculum, and working collaboratively with the Director of Construction Trades.

• Teach plumbing courses, including theory, repair, and installation
• Develop and implement curriculum to meet industry standards
• Assess student learning and provide feedback
• Collaborate with the Director of Construction Trades to plan and coordinate instruction
• Stay current with industry developments and best practices

• Master's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in the plumbing industry
• Valid plumbing contractor license
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Experience teaching or training in a post-secondary setting
• Knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations
• Ability to use technology to enhance instruction
