Avionics/Electrical Systems Specialist

Seeking a highly skilled Avionics/Electrical Systems Specialist to provide technical expertise and leadership in the testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics/electronic aircraft equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in avionics and electrical systems, with experience in testing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex systems.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical expertise and guidance in the testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics/electronic aircraft equipment and systems.
- Lead and mentor a team of technicians in the performance of operational, functional tests, and repairs of avionics/electronic aircraft equipment and systems.
- Develop and implement process changes to reduce cost and meet schedule requirements without compromising safety or quality.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure effective and efficient repair or replacement of defective components and wiring.
- Conduct functional and operational tests to evaluate performance and reliability of avionics/electronic aircraft equipment and systems.
- Ensure quality and efficiency of all installations, including troubleshooting and teaching troubleshooting processes to provide timely, quality repairs of malfunctioning systems.
- Oversee the performance and compliance with engineering changes and modifications as required.
- Adapt to sudden schedule changes and coordinate with other disciplines concerning projects.
- Preferred proficiency in the operation and troubleshooting of other aircraft systems or disciplines other than avionics, such as hydraulics, landing gear, flight controls, environmental controls, or structural installations and repairs.
- APU run qualification and engine run qualification preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams.
