Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team at Powers Health. As an ED Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care services and supporting our medical and nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform patient care services, including phlebotomy and 12 Lead EKGs, under the supervision of the manager or designee.
  • Assist medical and nursing staff with patient visits and procedures, ensuring efficient and effective departmental patient flow.
  • Maintain accurate records, inventories, and charts related to patient care activities.
  • Collaborate with nursing personnel to ensure seamless patient care and support.
  • Provide administrative support, including maintaining records and documentation.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Registered Medical Assistant or EMT/Paramedic license required.
  • Fundamental understanding of medical terminology and computer systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
