Job Summary

The CT Technologist is a vital member of our Imaging team, responsible for performing a variety of procedures applying ionizing radiation. Under the direction of the manager and the in-charge technologist, this role requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

* Performs CT scans as directed by the Radiologist/Manager
* Identifies patients with two identifiers and communicates with nursing or physician concerning patient
* Positions patients accurately for all CT procedures and ensures proper scanning protocols are followed
* Maintains a clean and stocked room, including adequate supplies and linens
* Responds to codes and other emergency situations appropriately

Requirements

* Associate's Degree - Completion of accredited radiology program
* Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses: ARRT-RADIOLOGICAL TECHNOLOGIST - ARRT, RSQA - RAD QUALITY STANDARD - RQSA, CT TECHNOLOGIST CERTIFIED - C061
* Minimum one year of CT experience - preferred
