Are you a skilled and experienced plumber looking for a new challenge? The Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking a highly qualified Senior Plumber Assistant to join our team.
About the RoleWe are offering a competitive salary ranging from $43,680 to $52,000 per year, commensurate with experience. This full-time position comes with a comprehensive benefits package, including 22 days of paid time off, 13+ paid holidays, and health insurance.
As a Senior Plumber Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the Building Automation team within Facilities Management. Your primary duties will include removing existing control valves, installing new control valves, and performing isolation valve installations. You will also be tasked with assisting other trades' personnel and ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with safety rules and procedures.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of four years of experience in all aspects of plumbing operations, including troubleshooting and mechanical problem-solving. A valid driver's license is also required.
