Job Title: Registered Nurse, Med-Surg, Full-Time Night Shift

Adventist Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Med-Surg team on a full-time night shift basis. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse, Med-Surg, Full-Time Night Shift will be responsible for delivering coordinated nursing care to patients on a med-surg unit. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient progress. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation and analyzes the assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues.
  • Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes and implements the plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
  • Collaborates with the team of patient, family, and healthcare providers in providing patient care in a safe, healing, humane, and caring environment.
  • Participates in discharge planning to provide continuity of care.
  • Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • 9 months of experience working as an RN, or completion of the Adventist Health RN residency program required.
  • Acute care facility RN experience preferred.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Oregon required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
