Job Description:
Placer County is seeking a highly skilled Legal Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in planning, organizing, and directing legal office operations.

About the Role:
The successful candidate will oversee the performance of specialized and responsible general and legal administrative, clerical, and document processing operations within an assigned legal department, division, program, or unit. You will be responsible for supervising lower-level technical and/or clerical staff, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, codes, and regulations, and performing complex work related to the assigned area of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:
• Recommend and implement unit goals and objectives
• Establish schedules and methods for office operations
• Plan, prioritize, assign, supervise, and review the work of assigned staff
• Evaluate operations and activities of assigned programs or units
• Perform specialized research and analysis related to assigned service area
• Participate in budget preparation and administration
• Serve as liaison with Federal, State, and local government regarding assigned program unit specialty area

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Five years of increasingly responsible legal administrative, secretarial, or clerical experience; with at least one year of lead experience
• Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade preferably supplemented by college coursework in paralegal, business, accounting, or a related field
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to analyze work papers, reports, and special projects; identify and interpret technical and numerical information
• Supervisory experience and skills

Working Conditions:
This role typically involves working in an indoor office environment with occasional travel to other locations. The position may require odd or unusual hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation:
The estimated annual salary for this role is $95,000 - $120,000, depending on qualifications and experience. Placer County offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
