Senior Framer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Framer to join our team at Michaels, a leading creative destination in North America. As a Senior Framer, you will be responsible for creating memorable framing solutions for our customers, building strong relationships, and providing exceptional customer service.

• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
• Embrace and execute personal designer by using Elevated ABC Deliver to build relationships with all customers while creating Custom Framing solutions.
• Deliver sales and production results, act in lead capacity in the absence of the Framing Manager, and be a resource to assist and train other Team Members.
• Support and assist Framing Manager in driving KPIs achievement, complete framing orders with a high degree of quality and on time, and maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas.
• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop and find what they are looking for, and provide a well-merchandised and in-stock store for the customer to shop.
• Provide a fast and friendly check-out experience while adhering to cash handling standards, follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs, and support shrink and safety programs.
• Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner, remain positive and respectful, even in difficult situations, and promote commitment to the organization's vision and values.
• Participate in the truck un-load and stocking processes to ensure truck standards are followed and completed within budget, operate cash register and execute cash handling to standards, and acknowledge customers, help locate product, and provide solutions.
• Engage customers on benefits of Rewards and complete enrollments, educate customers on Voice of Customer (VOC) survey, and assist with Omni-channel processes.

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate the framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience and experience selling products and/or services to customers.

Public retail store setting taking care of our customers, all public areas are climate-controlled, some stock rooms may not be climate-controlled, some outdoor work if assigned to retrieve shopping carts or while unloading trucks, Frame shop contains glass cutter and heat press, work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Total Base Pay Range for this Position: $16.50 - $19.40
