We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Program Officer to join our team at Next City. This is a full-time, direct hire position that offers an excellent opportunity for growth and professional development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Housing, Foster Programs, and Supportive Services Department, ensuring its efficiency and effectiveness in delivering client-focused services. They will also be responsible for evaluating program performance, implementing improvements, and leading initiatives for program expansion and design.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Department Supervision: The Chief Program Officer will supervise the Housing, Foster Programs, and Supportive Services Department, providing guidance and support to staff members to ensure they meet their job requirements and contribute to the department's overall success.
  2. Program Evaluation and Improvement: They will evaluate program performance using productivity data and implement necessary improvements to enhance service delivery and achieve better outcomes.
  3. Initiative Leadership: The Chief Program Officer will lead initiatives for program expansion and design, fostering collaboration among departments to ensure a holistic, efficient, and client-focused service delivery.
  4. Grant and Contract Management: They will manage department grants and contracts, ensuring timely fulfillment of deliverables and maintaining clear communication with funders.
  5. Program Outcomes Oversight: The Chief Program Officer will oversee program outcomes, conducting regular meetings with staff to discuss performance, achievements, needs, and inquiries.
  6. Financial Management: They will monitor revenue and expenditures, assisting in budget development and negotiating contracts as needed.
  7. Community Representation: The Chief Program Officer will advocate for the agency's clients and services within the community, representing the organization in county-wide meetings, task forces, and community engagements.
