Job Summary

Morgan Medical Center is seeking a skilled Perioperative Nurse to join our team in providing exceptional patient care in the critical pre-op and post-op period.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide planned, skilled nursing care for patients in the critical pre-op and post-op period
  • Perform thorough pre-op patient assessments and pre-admission testing
  • Perform safe and individualized nursing care for the patient in the immediate post-op/post anesthesia period
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skill necessary to provide appropriate care for patients of various age groups
Requirements
  • Knowledge of medications, general health conditions, and their impact on the peri-op course and anesthetic conditions
  • Previous experience in pre-op or critical care area preferred
