Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Fosston Hospital, working in the Med Surg or Emergency Department. This is a full-time position with a 0.9 FTE schedule.
About the RoleThis dynamic role involves providing high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to meet the needs of patients, contributing to the mission and goals of Essentia Health.
ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities include:
- Delivering evidence-based care to patients, prioritizing their needs and adapting to changing situations.
- Collaborating with the medical staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with colleagues and patients.
- Participating in education and training programs to enhance skills and stay up-to-date with best practices.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A BSN or ADN degree from an accredited nursing program.
- A current license with the appropriate State Board of Nursing.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Comprehensive Advanced Life Support (CALS) certification or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within one year.
The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
Work EnvironmentYou will work in a fast-paced hospital environment, with a Day/Night Rotation schedule. This role does not require remote work and has no call obligation or weekend shifts.
