Job Summary

Provide high-quality nursing care in accordance with facility and nursing service policy and procedure while establishing a workplace that meets quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure quality resident care is consistently delivered in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Assisted Living Manager on recruiting, hiring, new hire orientation, training, and in-services for Certified Medication Aids.
  • Supervise Certified Medication Aids who provide direct resident care on the shift.
  • Partner with physicians, pharmacy, and other medical professionals to promote quality care and independence for residents.
  • Conduct comprehensive resident pre-admission, admission, and quarterly assessments.
  • Collaborate with the Assisted Living Manager to provide on-call support for the community.
  • Ensure compliance, efficiency, and team understanding of policies and procedures.
  • Perform compliance rounds at least twice during a shift to ensure resident needs are met.
Qualifications
  • Must be congenial to residents, residents' families, and associates and respond in a professional manner.
  • Must be able to respond to an emergency in the assisted living setting.
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse License in the state of Georgia.
  • Good standing with the board of nursing.
  • CPR certification.
  • Supervisory experience and experience in assisted living preferred.
  • Excellent technical assessment and documenting skills.
  • Quality Assurance/improvement and staff development experience.
Work Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8am-4pm.

Compensation

$25-$31 an hour, based on experience.
