We are seeking a highly skilled Fund Administration Team Leader to join our Accounting Team in Global Fund Administration.

The Fund Administration Team Lead assists the Accounting Manager in providing direction and guidance to the group.

In addition, this candidate would also assist the Accounting Manager in implementing procedures in order to provide the highest level of quality service.

The candidate will play an integral role in ensuring the requirements of our internal and external customers are managed efficiently and effectively as we look to provide "Best in Class Service" to all of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Accounting Manager in providing direction and guidance to the team.
  • Implement procedures to provide the highest level of quality service.
  • Ensure the requirements of internal and external customers are managed efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications, Experience, Education:

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the mutual fund or finance industry as well as a 4 year degree in a business field (preferably accounting or finance related).

The job requires knowledge of tax issues, SEC regulations, financial reporting and the use of spreadsheets. Special Knowledge (if applicable): The candidate should demonstrate proficiency in standard desktop applications (excel, word, outlook, etc). Knowledge of RIC reporting requirements, financial reporting experiences and any alternative product knowledge is a plus. Candidates with process management/improvement experience is preferred.

Actual base salaries may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors.

Base salary is just one component of total compensation at AB, which may include, depending on eligibility, commissions, year-end incentive compensation, short- and long-term incentives and Department-specific awards.
