Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced Baker to join our team at Giant Eagle. As a Bakery Team Member, you'll be responsible for preparing and baking fresh products, ensuring only the highest quality items are available for sale. Your exceptional customer service skills will enable you to provide a world-class experience for our guests.

The Role:

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in scratch baking, using only the finest ingredients to craft mouthwatering treats. You'll work collaboratively with our Bakery team to ensure seamless operations, maintaining safety and sanitation standards while meeting demanding production schedules.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake fresh products according to established recipes
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations
• Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and resolving issues promptly
• Work effectively as part of a team to achieve departmental goals and objectives
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed

Requirements:

• 6-12 months experience in a related industry or completion of our apprenticeship program
• Prior experience in a bakery or similar setting is desired
• No High School diploma required, but relevant certifications may be beneficial
