About the Role:

Catholic Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Progressive Care Unit team. As a Surgical Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to some of the most acute patient populations.

The Surgical Progressive Care Unit is a 10-bed unit that provides care to patients who have undergone post-op cardiac/vascular procedures. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.

This is a per diem position, working on an as-needed basis to provide flexibility and work-life balance. You will be required to work a minimum of 32 hours in a 6-week period, with 16 hours on weekends.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' physical and psychosocial status based on interview, examination, and review of clinical data.
  • Employ critical thinking skills to solve problems and achieve patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Experience in an acute care setting is highly preferred.
  • Current unencumbered RN license in the State of NH.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification required.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing preferred.
  • BSN strongly preferred.
