Adult Education Assessment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Adult Education Assessment Specialist to join our team at Southeast Community College. This part-time opportunity will provide the right individual with the chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students.
About the Role:
The Adult Education Assessment Team Member is responsible for proctoring ESL and Adult Basic Education CASAS assessments, managing testing sessions, supporting students with required paperwork, and promoting a welcoming learning environment. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proctor ESL and Adult Basic Education CASAS assessments
- Manage testing sessions according to CASAS assessment service and SCC Adult Education program guidelines
- Support students with required paperwork and interview questions
- Promote a welcoming and inclusive learning environment
- Maintain accurate and detailed records
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in any field
- Experience with assessment and working with non-native users of English
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
