Job Title: Registered Nurse

At MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in our medical-surgical unit. As a key player in delivering top-tier care to patients undergoing surgery or receiving treatment, you will work closely with physicians, surgeons, and a dynamic healthcare team to ensure every patient receives comprehensive, personalized care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and monitor patients' health conditions by conducting physical examinations and reviewing medical histories.
  • Administer medications and treatments prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor vital signs, such as blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen saturation, and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
  • Assist surgeons and physicians during surgical procedures by providing necessary instruments, sterile supplies, and medications.
  • Perform various nursing procedures, including wound care, catheterization, and tube feedings.
  • Educate patients and their families about post-operative care, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and provide immediate care to stabilize patients.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing (Diploma, AD)
  • Registered Nurse (RN)
  • CPR-BCLS
  • Diagnostic & Support: ACLS is required before completion of orientation.
  • NIH Stroke Scale required before completion of orientation.
