Industrial Diesel Equipment Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to join our team at US Foods, Inc.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining our fleet of road equipment, including tractors, trailers, and refrigeration units. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
A key responsibility of this position is to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, perform preventative maintenance, and document all repair activities. Ideal candidates will have at least three years of commercial diesel mechanic experience, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Minimum 3 years of commercial diesel mechanic experience or 2 years of experience with TK or Refrigeration certification
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting competencies relating to equipment repairs
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with coworkers and drivers
- Ability to manage multiple functions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
