Job Title: Phlebotomy - Phlebotomist II

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist II to join our team. As a Phlebotomist II, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients and preparing them for laboratory testing. You will work in a fast-paced environment and must be able to provide quality, error-free work while maintaining a safe and professional atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect blood samples from patients using a variety of techniques, including venipuncture and capillary collections.
• Prepare blood samples for laboratory testing by labeling and packaging them correctly.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient information and blood sample results.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and make decisions based on established procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years of phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Medical training, such as medical assistant or paramedic training, preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred, required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions based on established procedures.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
