Salary:

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to provide therapeutic support and behavioral interventions to children and adolescents in home, school, and/or community settings. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will work closely with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, provide crisis management and support, and collaborate with clients, caregivers, and other professionals to achieve positive outcomes.

  • Foster a strong therapeutic relationship with clients and their families, providing emotional support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.
  • Use evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions to promote positive behavior change and improve overall well-being.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring that each client receives the most effective support possible.
  • Provide crisis management and support to clients and their families, using de-escalation techniques and other strategies to minimize harm and promote safety.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience providing behavioral health services, or a high school diploma and completion of a 40-hour training covering the RBT Task List, or a valid behavior analysis certification (RBT, BCAT, BCaBA, etc.) accredited by NCCA or ANSI.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to form trusting relationships with clients and their families.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with professionals from various disciplines to achieve common goals.
  • Knowledge of CASSP principles and trauma-informed practices, with the ability to apply these principles in a real-world setting.
