Radiologic Technologist Specialist

At NYC Health + Hospitals, we are committed to delivering high-quality care services to our diverse patient population. As a Radiologic Technologist level II, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional radiographic services.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform complex radiographic procedures on patients with specialized needs.
- Assist radiologists and other healthcare professionals in diagnostic and treatment procedures.
- Conduct diagnostic testing and equipment maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor patient and equipment conditions during procedures and report any changes to healthcare professionals.
- Train and guide radiographers in various x-ray procedures.
- Supervise radiographers and ancillary personnel to ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment to ensure operational viability.
- Valid license and current registration to practice Diagnostic Radiography as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the NYSDOH.
- Knowledge of radiation protection, contrast screening, and reactions.
- Ability to perform daily Quality Assurance (QA) and enter/retrieve patient information from PACS and HIS.
