Job Overview

Keller Williams Realty Centre in Columbia, Maryland, is seeking a detail-oriented Broker of Record to join our team full-time.

The successful candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, demonstrate strong leadership abilities, and have a solid grasp of Keller Williams systems.

Compensation Package

$60,000 base salary with additional bonuses for the head broker. Negotiable compensation for sub-brokers. All licensing fees covered by the market center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all transactions are in compliance with regulations.
  • Monitor compliance daily, including evening hours, for listings, under contracts, signs, postcards, flyers, etc.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current regulations and changes by attending classes, broker meetings at the Board of Realtors, and reading literature and updates from the MLS and State.
  • Disseminate information to the market center on regulatory updates.
  • Act as the representative for and liaison between the market center and BCP concerning lawsuits and complaints.
  • Research rules and regulations as needed by agents.
  • Provide guidance to agents on compliance issues and urgent matters on weekends and evenings.
Education and Training
  • Teach classes on various topics, including contract writing, listing paperwork, open house hosting, MLS utilization, and real estate compliance.
  • Host a 'Broker Moment' at every Team Meeting to discuss current topics or updates.
  • Send weekly emails to the market center on education and important updates.
  • Secure instructors to teach CE credits in the market center.
Qualifications
  • Hold a valid MD Broker License.
  • Possess a Sales or Commercial Real Estate background.
  • Demonstrate forward-thinking, entrepreneurial expertise in problem-solving and negotiating with a knack for winning over clients.
  • Show a team-oriented mindset and ability to collaborate with other brokers and support staff.
