Job Description and Duties
The Department of FISCal seeks a highly skilled Finance and Accounting professional to serve as the Chief of the Client Training Section (CTS). As the CTS Chief, you will be responsible for reviewing and updating existing training curriculum, user guides, and training materials to ensure they accurately reflect the latest system features and enhancements.
You will work closely with subject matter experts across system modules to define the training service catalogue, develop and execute cohort models, and provide training and development support to the Department of FISCal workforce.
The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of accounting principles and procedures, procurements, grants management, and customer contracts. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders, customers, management, and peers to facilitate communication and improve the work environment.
The CTS Chief will be responsible for managing the design and operation of the FI$Cal system, including ongoing training, workforce development, and support for various committees and vendors. This role requires the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and may require excess hours to be worked.
The Department of FISCal offers a remote-centered position with the flexibility of telework for three or more days per week. In-office attendance is mandatory on designated days. The position requires prolonged sitting in an office-setting environment with the use of a telephone and personal computer.
This position may require the use of a hand-cart to transport documents and/or equipment over 20 pounds. The incumbent must demonstrate a commitment to maintaining a working environment free from discrimination and sexual harassment.
Responsibilities
- Review and update training curriculum, user guides, and training materials
