Diesel Technician/Mechanic

At Penske Logistics, we are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our roadside assistance team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our customers who require emergency repairs on the side of the road.
Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose and repair maintenance issues on tractor trailers in all weather conditions.
- Perform diagnostics and non-road assist call repairs as needed.
- Restock rapid assist vehicles with tools, parts, tires, and other necessary supplies.
- Perform maintenance or repairs to road assist vehicles as required.
- Assist with designated in-shop repairs as directed by supervisor.
- 2-4 years of practical experience with tractor trailer maintenance.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Vocational/Technical or certification preferred.
- Specialized training in the repair and replacement of vehicle components preferred.
- Proficiency in the use of shop tools required.
- Current CDL license with air brake certification required.
- Basic computer skills preferred for data entry into maintenance systems.

- Ability to see and hear in order to safely navigate the work environment.
