Industrial Service Executive

The Senior Director of Industrial Services will be responsible for spearheading the company's industrial service division, guaranteeing seamless delivery of fluid management solutions across various sectors. This strategic role involves developing and executing the company's fluid services strategy, fostering growth, and maintaining exceptional standards of operational efficiency. The Director will collaborate with senior management to align departmental objectives with overall company goals, ensuring superior customer service delivery.
We are seeking an experienced professional who can lead our team effectively. You'll first hear from our Talent Acquisition team, followed by a personal interview with our Hiring Manager.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for industrial services, encompassing market expansion, innovation, and customer retention initiatives.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations of the industrial services Operations and Account Management teams, ensuring efficient processes, adherence to safety regulations, and high-quality service delivery.
- Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to expand the company's market presence and revenue streams in targeted segments. Coordinate with the sales team to ensure effective sales cycles, robust lead generation, technical consultations, comprehensive proposals, and successful closing.
- Customer Relations: Foster strong relationships with key customers, addressing their needs and delivering tailored, high-value solutions. Ensure satisfaction with Trucent services and products, aiming for high customer retention rates.
- Industry Trends and Analysis: Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices within the industry by regularly reviewing relevant publications, attending conferences, and engaging with industry networks. Analyze the impact of these developments on business operations and strategy, providing actionable insights and recommendations to maintain competitiveness and innovation.
- Fleet Optimization: Implement a multi-faceted strategy focused on advanced scheduling, improved maintenance practices, and data analytics to exceed customer expectations and deliver exceptional value.
- New Technologies: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify evolving industrial technologies addressing unmet market needs. Collaborate with senior management to evaluate and develop these technologies, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and offering tangible solutions. Assist in the innovation process from concept to implementation, enhancing competitive advantage and meeting customer demands effectively.
- Marketing Collaboration: Create and implement marketing strategies utilizing advertising, press releases, promotional campaigns, trade shows, and social media to drive Industrial Solutions objectives forward.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
Position Requirements:
- Education: Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
- Experience: Requires a minimum of 15 years of experience in industrial fluid sales and operations, with at least 10 years of management experience. Specific knowledge of metal working fluids is essential.
- Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to quickly develop a thorough understanding of filtration and separation processes, demonstrating technical capacity and knowledge.
- Keen sales and customer service skills, with a proven track record of high customer retention and successful sales.
- Proven presentation skills at an advanced level.
- Ability to develop written proposals capturing all critical components of the sale.
- Demonstrated leadership capability and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Formidable networking skills and connections.
- High degree of diplomacy and ability to deal with and influence persons in all types of positions within the company and externally.
- Ability to logically, efficiently, and effectively solve practical problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Perform reading, writing, and speaking at an advanced level.
- Capacity to supervise personnel, including training, analyzing talent, and resolving conflicts. Experience managing personnel activities such as hiring, performance evaluations, succession planning, and disciplinary actions.
- Intermediate to advanced computer and software skills.
Travel Requirements:
- Travel in North America on company business 50%-70%, extending to the continental United States, Eastern Canada, and Mexico.
