Job Summary

VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Volusia County Jail in Daytona Beach, FL. As an LPN, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our healthcare team, and upholding the highest standards of professionalism and compassion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and documenting patient information.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct wound care, including cleaning and dressing/bandaging wounds.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of teaching plans to promote health education and wellness.
  • Perform other nursing duties as assigned by facility leadership.
Requirements
  • Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program.
  • Currently licensed as a Practical Nurse in the state of employment.
  • Possesses an active CPR certification.
  • Remains knowledgeable about specific state laws and regulations governing practice.
  • Satisfactory completion of initial and annual clinical competencies to demonstrate aptitude as assigned by role.
