About the Role

You will be responsible for assessing, analyzing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, following established patient care standards for Legacy Health System. Your expertise and skills will enable you to provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being throughout their hospital stay.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing personalized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, ensure effective communication, and address any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress, including vital signs, test results, and treatment outcomes.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current RN license in good standing and a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices.
  • One year of registered nursing experience, preferably in a surgical setting, or completion of the Legacy Health RN Residency program.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records systems and other relevant software applications.
