Nurse Manager

Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to lead our Operating Room team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the OR, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage a team of nurses and ancillary staff in the OR
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient flow and care
- Monitor and analyze patient outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives
- Develop and manage budgets and resources to ensure optimal use of staff and equipment
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and technologies to ensure the OR remains a leader in patient care
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field
- Current RN license in New York State
- Minimum of 2-3 years of management experience in a healthcare setting
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the OR
- Certification in Nursing Administration (CNA) or related field
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
