Speech Language Pathologist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at The Grand Rehabilitation & Nursing. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating residents and developing treatment plans that meet their needs. Your duties will include choosing activities to help residents carry out their daily work independently, observing and assessing their progress, and preparing detailed progress reports. You will also help in rehabilitating residents with disabilities resulting from injury, illness, or other problems, and maintain a safe and clean working environment. Additionally, you will maintain resident confidence by monitoring confidential information processing and maintain documentation of resident care services by auditing resident and department records. A graduate of an accredited Speech Therapy Program and current New York State License are required. Experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate residents and develop treatment plans
Choose activities to help residents carry out daily work independently
Observe and assess resident progress
Prepare detailed progress reports
Help in rehabilitating residents with disabilities
Maintain a safe and clean working environment
Maintain resident confidence by monitoring confidential information processing
Maintain documentation of resident care services

Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Speech Therapy Program
Current New York State License
Experience is a plus
