Transportation Coordinator

At Zion-Benton Township High School District 126, we are seeking a skilled Transportation Coordinator to join our team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services.
About the PositionThe successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the daily activities of our bus drivers. This includes assigning routes, monitoring driver performance, and maintaining accurate records of student transportation data.
We estimate the annual salary for this position to be around $60,000 - $80,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and supervise bus driver activities, including route assignments and monitoring performance
- Maintain accurate records of student transportation data
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for safe and efficient transportation operations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of transportation services
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum two years of experience in transportation coordination or a related field
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
