Job Description
As a Lead Service Associate at Rite Aid, you will be responsible for supervising Store Associates while assisting with daily store operations. Your primary objective is to provide guidance where necessary and serve as a model of outstanding customer service.
Day-in-the-Life of a Lead Service Associate
- Supervise and assist Store Associates with daily operational tasks.
- Provide support to customers with their shopping needs and transactions.
- Maintain merchandising tasks via plan-o-gram.
- Perform receiving and stocking procedures.
- Count and reconcile cash register drawers.
- Prepare deposits and order change from the bank.
- Ensure regular inventory inspection, removal, or rotation according to the Product Freshness Review Schedule.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and pleasing environment for customers and associates.
- Design a monthly schedule and assign work to foster an efficient workflow.
Education and/or Experience
We require a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and at least one year of experience in retail, food service, restaurant, or customer service industry, preferably at a supervisor level.
