Medical Laboratory Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced laboratory tests and analyses on biological specimens to provide accurate and reliable results.
- Develop and validate new testing methods to improve laboratory efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintain laboratory quality control and compliance with regulations to ensure patient safety and data integrity.
- Train and supervise laboratory personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to discuss findings and implications, and provide expert advice on laboratory procedures and protocols.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist, such as ASCP or CSMLS.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare providers and laboratory personnel.
