Territory Sales Representative

Air Hydro Power is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for achieving maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within the Northwest Alabama market.
Key Responsibilities- Promote and sell products and services to existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.
- Demonstrate products and services to customers and assist them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
- Establish and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers to generate new business.
- Make telephone calls and in-person visits to present to customers.
- Research and develop prospective customers and gather information to determine their potential.
- Develop clear and effective written proposals and quotations for customers.
- Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
- Coordinate sales efforts with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics, and technical service groups.
- Analyze the territory's potential and determine the value of existing and prospective customers.
- Create and manage a customer value plan for existing customers.
- Identify advantages and compare the organization's products and services.
- Plan and organize personal sales strategy to maximize Return on Time Investment.
- Supply management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Stay up-to-date on product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field is strongly preferred.
- Automation, fluid power industry, or related experience is strongly preferred.
- Must have a clean, unrestricted driver's license.
- Ability to drive long distances in variable weather conditions.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Knowledge of Contact Management systems, Excel, and Word is required.
- A strong work ethic is a must.
