Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior RF Electronics Technician to join our team at KBR. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing complex RF electronics systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop RF electronics systems, including circuit boards and components.
  • Perform operational tests and adjustments of complex electrical and electronic equipment.
  • Read and interpret schematics diagrams, wire diagrams, and diagnostic results.
  • Make complex repairs, including replacement of component parts.
  • Compile system documentation on completed units.
  • Assist engineers in prototype development efforts and perform board-level circuit design.
  • Utilize test equipment and advanced testing techniques to validate component and system operation.
  • Perform non-routine and complex assignments involving responsibility for planning and conducting a complete project.
  • Develop system specifications, estimates, part lists, and technical documentation.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in engineering technology or related fields, or military technical training program with a minimum of 10 years of directly related work experience.
  • Strong RF system and component experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of test equipment operation and application.
  • Ability to work independently and manage large portions of projects to completion.
  • Must have DoD Secret level clearance and be able to maintain clearance as part of employment.
